Microsoft Corporation released the Windows Server 2008 certification ways officially on June 14 in the MCP LiveMeeting. The new generation of Microsoft server operating system certification is finally published.
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 certification system will use the new generation of certification structure, which is certification system of MCTS&MCITP.
First, Microsoft's new certification system:
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): focused on configuring and troubleshooting key technologies.
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): focused on advanced infrastructure design.
Windows Server 2008 Microsoft MCTS certification system would involve the following aspects
1、Active Directory Domain Services
2、Identity and Access Management
3、Internet Services
4、Terminal Services
5、Networking Infrastructure
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Certification MCITP system will involve the following aspects:
1、Infrastructure Operations
2、Active Directory Design and Planning
According to the contents of the basis of the above, , there will be three MCTS exams of Windows Server 2008 system, To examine AD, system architecture and application platform respectively for specific subjects:
70-640: TS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring Windows Server 2008
70-642: TS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring Windows Server 2008
70-643: TS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Platform, Configuring Windows Server 2008
There will be two MCITP exams of Windows Server 2008 system ,they are:
70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008 Administrator Windows Server 2008
70-647: Pro: Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Administrator Windows Server 2008
70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008 Administrator Windows Server 2008
70-647: Pro: Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Administrator Windows Server 2008
Note: there is no affiliation between the two MCITP , it should be said that Windows Server 2008 administrators is focus on system management, maintenance; Windows Server 2008 Enterprise system administrators is to focus on planning, programming, deployment, management and maintenance.
